Le Massif, the ski centre in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, in the Charlevoix region, proposes a vast range of services and events adapted to the needs of skiers, riders and telemarkers seeking pleasure and surpassment.
A $230M investment, between now and 2013, is poised to elevate Le Massif to the rank of a four-season tourism and recreation destination. This important development project called Territoire Le Massif will span over more than 120 square kilometres of territory and will be articulated between two towns – Baie-Saint-Paul and Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, with 20 km of shoreline on the St-Laurent. Totally integrated with the concept is a tourist train travelling at water’s edge between Québec City and La Malbaie, where exceptional scenery unfolds as visitors are swept across a 137-kilometre route.
The project involves construction of a complex that is integrated, ecological and responsible. Territoire Le Massif will be a distinguished by a unique concept that features architecture geared to protection of the landscape and respect for the environment and the social milieu. The project will also offer unique and innovative entertainment, sports and cultural programs, with a complete range of activities during all four seasons.
