Biographical notes

Deputy Minister for the ministère du Développement économique, de l’Innovation et de l’Exportation (MDEIE) since January 2010, Christyne Tremblay had worked as Assistant Deputy Minister for the Direction générale des politiques et des sociétés d’État at MDEIE since 2005.
Previously, she also worked as Secretary General for the ministère des Finances.
Ms. Tremblay boasts over twenty years of public service experience, having held key positions within the ministère du Conseil exécutif, the ministère des Relations internationales and the ministère de l'Industrie et du Commerce.
Ms. Tremblay earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from the École nationale d'administration publique. She is also a graduate from University of Ottawa, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics, and another in Political Science.
