Cascades reports improved third quarter results
KINGSEY FALLS, QC, Nov. 8 /CNW Telbec/ - Cascades Inc. ("Cascades") (Symbol: CAS-TSX) reports net earnings of $16 million ($0.16 per share) for the quarter ended September 30, 2007.
This compares with net earnings of $10 million ($0.12 per share) for the same period in 2006. When excluding specific items(1), net earnings for the third quarter of 2007 amounted
to $9 million ($0.09 per share) compared to net earnings of
$17 million ($0.21 per share) for the same quarter in 2006.
